Investigadora del Lab de Energía y Medioambiente de Orkestra desde noviembre de 2022. Es economista, magister en Economía Aplicada y Doctora en Ingeniería (Énfasis en Ingeniería Industrial) de la Universidad del Valle, Colombia. Su investigación se centra en los mercados de energía, especialmente en la modelación de los precios de la electricidad y el gas natural, medición y gestión de riesgos en los mercados y el impacto de variables climáticas. Tiene publicaciones en revistas especializadas de energía como Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Energy, Applied Energy, entre otras. En Orkestra ha participado en proyectos sobre la evolución de los precios minoristas de electricidad, el diseño del mercado eléctrico, la aceptación social de proyectos e infraestructuras energéticas y la pobreza energética. Previamente, fue profesora en el Departamento de Finanzas de la Universidad EAFIT (Colombia) y en la Facultad de Economía de la Universidad del Valle (Colombia). Realizó su estancia doctoral en el Energy Center de EPFL (Suiza) y obtuvo el premio EEX Group Excellence Award en el 2019 por su artículo “Drivers of Electricity Price Dynamics: A Comparative Analysis of Spot and Futures Markets”.
