It’s still fashionable today to promote tech startups and tech hubs based on models from the global north. But new, alternative and more sustainable models might be emerging.
Our institutions are not solving the world’s wicked problems, such as the refugee crisis and climate change. Can sustainable coffee – a bottoms-up, modular approach – provide clues to a better way?
Instead of trying to bring back the old economy jobs that have been lost, the U.S. should focus on training Americans in the new skills that will be needed in tomorrow’s economy.
It’s important to reconnect management researchers with practitioners so their scholarly work is shared beyond academia.
