Sriram Subramaniam

Dr. Sriram Subramaniam is a Professor at the University of British Columbia. He holds the Gobind Khorana Chair in Cancer Drug design and is the Founder and CEO of Gandeeva Therapeutics, a drug discovery company based in Vancouver. Since 2024, Dr. Subramaniam also serves as Director of PROGENITER, a flagship program within Canada’s Immuno-Engineering and Biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH) focused on antibody engineering and therapeutic design. Prior to his arrival in Vancouver, Sriram was Senior Investigator at the National Institutes of Health where he also founded and directed the US National Cryo-EM Facility. He received his PhD in physical chemistry from Stanford University and completed postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
