My research focuses on how habitat and host-tree conditions shape the performance, fitness, and interspecific variability of forest insects, providing a mechanistic basis for understanding diversity patterns within meta-communities. I am particularly interested in synthesizing large, multi-taxon datasets to assess relationships between multidiversity and ecological functions, and in translating ecological theory into management-relevant recommendations for multifunctional forest landscapes.
