Sophie Bestley

Dr Sophie Bestley is a Senior Lecturer in Quantitative Southern Ocean Ecology, in the Centre for Ecology & Biodiversity at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS). Her main research area lies in the Antarctic and Southern Ocean, particularly the East Antarctic, with a focus on highly mobile marine predators and the productive marine ecosystems that support them. Her research interests interface ecology, biological oceanography and quantitative methods.
