Sophia Herbert

Sophia Herbert, PharmD is passionate about supporting community pharmacists by providing them with the evidence and tools they need to transform community pharmacy practice into a sustainable, patient-centered healthcare model. Dr. Herbert completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Community Pharmacy Practice Development Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Dr. Herbert focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of community pharmacy-based patient care services, including the University-wide vaccination and wellness efforts. Dr. Herbert teaches in several courses in the PharmD curriculum, coordinates the Community Leadership and Innovation in Practice Area of Concentration, and serves as the Education Director for the Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection Hub.
