I completed my BA general majoring in psychology in 2008. I completed my BSocSCi Honours degree in Psychology in 2009 and continued with my professional MA degree in Research Psychology by coursework in 2010-2011. I also completed my PhD in psychology in 2021.

I am a registered research psychologist with the HPCSA and currently employed as a senior lecturer at the University of Pretoria. My research is focused on health psychology, specifically health literacy, digital health literacy and diabetes self-management and mental health.
