Somayeh Bahmannia

Dr. Somayeh Bahmannia is a Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and received her PhD in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour in 2018 from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Her research lies at the intersection of leadership dynamics, employee behaviour, and workplace psychology, with a growing interest in how leadership influences employee–customer interactions, knowledge behaviours, identity processes, and affective responses in the workplace.

In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Bahmannia demonstrates a strong commitment to academic service, collaboration, and impact-oriented scholarship. She has actively worked with diverse international research teams and industry partners on projects addressing socially and practically significant issues, including the empowerment of women migrants, the examination of driver distraction, and initiatives aimed at enhancing community awareness. Across these engagements, her work consistently bridges theory and practice by generating insights that inform government and organizational policies, leadership development, and evidence-based interventions designed to foster inclusive and resilient communities.
