Sofia Kesidou

Sofia is currently an Associate Professor at the Centre for Educational Measurement and Assessment at the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on curriculum and assessment policy, teachers' use of assessment & professional learning, and assessment validation. She contributed to the development of U.S. national standards in science, mathematics, and technology, creating award-winning evaluation processes. She has held senior executive roles at UNSW and NESA, overseeing high-stakes assessment programs and curriculum reforms. She has served on several educational boards and is currently a member of the NSW HSC Standards Setting Committee.
