Simon Weir is a Sydney-based artist, writer, and academic at the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning. His work brings together architecture, surrealism, philosophy, and design research, with particular interests in René Magritte, Salvador Dalí, object-oriented ontology, and the role of AI in creative practice. He is also a practising surrealist painter and a member of the editorial team for the International Journal of Surrealism.
