I have written widely about the economic and business history of Australia, Britain, New Zealand, USA, Norway and Japan. I have written in particular about big business, business groups, and the primary industries, especially wool, in Australia. I am a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and a member of the ARC College of Experts.
