My group works on problems at the interface between ecological/evolutionary genomics, disease ecology and conservation biology. I am particularly interested in marine mammal genomics and conservation, the use of novel technology such as eDNA to support biodiversity monitoring, disease impacts on endangered species and parasite conservation. I am a member of the IUCN Pinniped Specialist Group.
