I completed a PhD at UCL Institute of Neurology, Queen Sq. in 2011, investigating social decision-making processes in schizophrenia and healthy controls. My postdoctoral training was at University of Sussex, applying MRI techniques to explore how genetic factors affect brain activity patterns and cognitive performance. In January 2017 I joined Surrey as a Lecturer in Neuroscience.

My primary research interest is the use of brain imaging techniques to investigate factors affecting cognitive change across the lifespan; with the aim of informing interventions which promote healthy cognitive ageing.
