Shuxia Chen

Shuxia Chen is a historian and curator of Chinese art and photography. Her research concerns cultural network, art collectives, amateur and diasporic artistic practice, and reciprocal relations between people and objects. Chen was the inaugural curator, China Gallery and East Asian Collections, Chau Chak Wing Museum, the University of Sydney. She is currently a senior lecturer in the Master's degree program, Curating and Cultural; Leadership, at the University of New South Wales School of Art & Design.
