Shillpa Naavaal

Dr. Naavaal is a board certified dental public health and a health services researcher. Her research is primarily focused on access and use of health care services among various populations and impact of health policies on health outcomes. She is the recipient of several honors and awards including WISDM (Women in Science, Dentistry and Medicine) professional award, Dean's award for Research and Teaching, Revere Scholar award. Dr. Naavaal graduated with a dental degree from the Nagpur University, India; M.S. in Oral Sciences and M.P.H. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Dental Public Health Residency from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
