- Head of Global Change Ecology Lab, Monash University
I am a global change biologist with a special focus on insects. While much of my current research is focused on ecological modelling or big data analysis, I have strong fieldwork experience in the tropics. Before joining Monash University, I did a short postdoc at Adelaide University with Professor Phill Cassey. Earlier, I completed a two-year postdoc with Professor Aletta Bonn at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv). In May 2022, I completed my PhD at the University of Queensland with Professor Richard Fuller and Emeritus Professor Meron Zalucki. Below, I discuss in detail my research experiences in different career stages.
