In addition to being an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, I am Chief Climate Scientist at Fortescue where I focus on near-term impacts of climate change on human health and ecosystems.

I am Chair of the Lethal Humidity Global Council, a coalition of climate scientists and other global experts committed to protecting humanity against rising heat and humidity.

Previously, I was a marine ecologist with a BSc in Biological Sciences from Oxford University, an MSc in Oceanography from Southampton University and a PhD in marine ecology from UWA.
