Shannon McLoughlin Morrison

Shannon McLoughlin Morrison, Ph.D. is a Senior Lecturer and the Assistant Director, Academics and Program Assessment for the Center for Aviation Studies. In this role, Dr. Morrison maintains the Center’s academic accreditation through the Aviation Accreditation Board, International (AABI). Dr. Morrison also manages all curricular changes and program assessments that occur within the Center.

Dr. Morrison currently teaches AVN 2220: Aviation Organization Analysis, Writing and Research and AVN 4520: Aviation Capstone, both are for students completing the Aviation degree through the College of Engineering. Dr. Morrison has also taught in the College of Education and Human Ecology, School and Society.

Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership. Master's degrees in education, public policy, and women's studies. She is currently working on a Master of Science degree in Integrated Systems Engineering.
