Shani Orgad is Professor in the Department of Media and Communications at LSE. Her research and teaching focus on culture, media representation and globalisation, gender, parenting, work and migration. She is the author of several books, including most recently Heading Home: Motherhood, Work, and the Failed promise of Equality (2019) and Confidence Culture (2022, with Rosalind Gill).
