Beginning my academic career at the University of Liverpool, I read for an Integrated Master of Psychological Sciences degree, specialising in Clinical & Health Psychology. I subsequently have worked for various academic departments, notably as a Research Assistant in Qualitative Methods at the UCL EGA Institute for Women’s Health, before joining the Department of Women & Children’s Health at King’s College London. I have also obtained a Master's degree in Psychological and Psychiatric Anthropology from Brunel University London. As a researcher I have successfully secured grant funding, published in peer-reviewed academic journals, & won critical acclaim from The British Psychological Society. I am an Associate Fellow of The British Psychological Society, Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, Fellow of the Mental Health Collective, and a Registered Scientist of the Science Council. I have been made an Honorary Research Fellow at UCL Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Institute for Women’s Health, and an Honorary Fellow at the University of Liverpool's Department of Psychology.
