Serena Fatica

Serena Fatica is a team leader at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, where she also acts as co-leader of the portfolio of projects on the “Drivers of competitiveness”. Previously, she had served as an economist in the Commission’s Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs. At the JRC, she coordinates research activities on corporate finance and financial vulnerabilities, with focus on sustainability and climate-related aspects, in support to EU policymaking. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven.
