Seb Stannard is a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton and the Healthy Low-carbon Transport Hub (HLTHub), a multidisciplinary research hub examining how the transition to low-carbon transport can maximise health benefits and reduce health inequalities. His work includes evidence syntheses on the health impacts of transport decarbonisation and the development of a conceptual framework for understanding how low-carbon transport interventions influence health. This framework is currently being applied across HLTHub case studies, including Southampton's Portswood bus gate, to explore how low-carbon transport interventions affect health, wellbeing and inequalities in practice.
