Sean Kruger

Dr Sean Kruger is a technology and innovation specialist, looking at the various facets of how to support innovation across disciplines, as well as create relevant strategies to generate value from such activities.

Dr Kruger's PhD explored the integration and adoption of emerging digital technologies and how academia, businesses and governments can leverage them to innovate. He is a senior lecturer in the University of Pretoria's Centre for the Future of Work.

Dr Kruger's diverse professional background has prepared him to advise leaders and policymakers on how to harness technological advancements and navigate various disruptions, including the changing future of work. He accomplishes this by working cooperatively to develop successful strategies and reinvent business models for true value generation in today’s digital world. He also strives to empower human-centric innovation through Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies, merging empathy with efficiency for transformative progress.
