Dr. Scott Cocker is a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University working on the environmental history of Arctic and northern regions during and after the last Ice Age. His work focuses on understanding how past ecosystems responded to climate change using sediments, fossils, and ancient environmental DNA. He has carried out fieldwork in Alaska, northern Canada, and Scandinavia and has experience working in remote Arctic environments and on Indigenous and First Nations territories across the North.
