Sarah Parkhouse currently holds the position of British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Manchester. She is a researcher in Early Christianity and published her first book on the Gospel of Mary with Cambridge University Press in 2019. She is currently writing about Coptic apocrypha within the landscape of Egypt, gospel writing in late antiquity, and mythical enactment in Roman amphitheatres, among many other things.
