Sarah Foley

(she/her)

I am a Lecturer in Developmental Psychology at the University of Edinburgh. My research explores family dynamics and wellbeing across transitions and diverse structures, including those co-parenting after separation/divorce or within elective co-parenting arrangements. In 2023 I was awarded an Economic and Social Research Council New Investigators Grant which aims to increase understanding of family life and child adjustment and experiences in different post-separation parenting arrangements.

I completed my Economic and Social Research Council funded doctoral and postdoctoral research at the Centre for Family Research, University of Cambridge.
