Sarah Fessenden

Recently completed PhD Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of British Columbia and is a recent recipient of the University of British Columbia’s Public Scholar Award. My research includes food activism, social movement organization, and finding empowering ways to distribute otherwise wasted food in the midst of the overwhelming business of charity. Currently a lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia.
