Sarah Cox is a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies at The Open University in Scotland. Her research focuses on multilingual, decolonial, participatory approaches to language education for refugees and migrants. She holds a PhD in Education which she completed within the UNESCO Chair Refugee Integration through Languages and the Arts at the University of Glasgow. Before coming to The Open University, Sarah worked as a senior manager in the third sector where she led a range of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and integration projects.
