Sarah Bienko Eriksen

I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher at the H.C. Andersen Center, where I collaborate on the project Hans Christian Andersen as World Literature. My dissertation explores the social dynamics of fairytale language using methods from language-in-use, an applied area of linguistic anthropology. I also work with folklore, embodiment/emplacement, narratology, cognitive linguistics, and cognitive semiotics.
