- PhD researcher in Public Health, Swansea University
Sara qualified as a nurse in 2009 and a health visitor in 2014. She is currently studying for a PhD in Public Health at Swansea University.
Her PhD is exploring the effects of a baby-led weaning style on growth and weight gain during infancy when compared with spoon-feeding. Sara is particularly interested in how what happens in infancy could affect health in later childhood and adulthood.
She is also interested in bettering health outcomes for children living in socially and economically deprived circumstances both here in the UK and in overseas humanitarian emergencies and developing countries.
