Samuel Zilincik is an assistant professor at the Royal Danish Defence College and received his PhD in security and strategic studies from Masaryk University. His current research focuses on how military operations generate strategic effects. He is published widely, including in The Journal of Strategic Studies, Contemporary Security Policy, the Texas National Security Review, the RUSI Journal, and Military Strategy Magazine, and is an assistant
editor of the two most recent volumes of The Cambridge History of Strategy.
