Samuel Ojo Oloruntoba

I obtained a PhD degree in political science with specialisation in international political economy of trade from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to that I had a master's degree (cum laude) in political science from the same university and a bachelors (honours) degree in political science from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. I was previously a visiting scholar at Brown and Northwestern Universities in the United States of America. I was an associate professor at the Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute (now Thabo Mbeki School of Public and International Affairs), University of South Africa, until 2021. I am a rated researcher by the National Research Foundation of South Africa and currently an assistant professor at the Institute of African Studies, Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
