I research how infants develop, in particular their cognitive and linguistic development. My work has looked at infant word learning, colour perception, working memory and brain development. I am particularly passionate about how infants interact with environments to shape their learning.
My research lab at Durham University, the Durham Babylab, uses varied methodology, including fNIRS, eyetracking and observation to understand how infants develop.
