Samina Akhtar is a PhD candidate in Population and Public Health at Aga Khan University, Pakistan. Her research focuses on non-communicable diseases, particularly cardiovascular disease and cardiometabolic risk prevention. She is currently leading a workplace healthy lifestyle intervention for sedentary employees in urban Pakistan as part of her doctoral research.
