Sam Williams is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working in conservation ecology in the Department of Zoology, University of Venda, an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Anthropology at Durham University, and a Researcher at the Institute for Globally Distributed Open Research and Education (IGDORE). His research interests centre on the conservation ecology of African carnivores, and include population dynamics, mitigating threats to wildlife, and assessing the ecosystem services provided by carnivores.
