Sam Burrow

(she/her)

I'm currently completing a PhD in the School of Population and Global Health at UWA. My research is exploring parents' experiences and professionals' perspectives when families intersect with child protection systems during pregnancy and after birth.

As a non-Indigenous woman of English/Irish/Scottish heritage I wish to acknowledge that I live and learn on Whadjuk Noongar boodja (Perth, WA). I recognise the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their continuing deep connection to land, sea, culture, and community. I pay my respects to Elders, colleagues, and friends, past and present, and extend that to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
