Salim Hashmi

Salim Hashmi is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London.

Dr Hashmi joined King’s College London in January 2019 as a Teaching Fellow after completing both his PhD and BSc in Psychology (with professional placement) from Cardiff University.

Currently, Dr Hashmi leads and teaches on modules for the BSc in Psychology related to developmental psychology. His research background is within this area, primarily in relation to children’s play, imagination, and interactions with technology. He also has experience in studying social understanding, executive function, and longitudinal study designs. Salim also has an interest in inclusive education, decolonising curriculum and student experience.
