Saad Baset

I am currently an Associate Lecturer and researcher in Employment Law and Industrial Relations at Salford Business School. My research interests include Employment Tribunals, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and workplace disputes, with a recent focus on the dismissal of seafarers in the UK shipping industry. I also have a growing interest in the use of AI in recruitment.

Recently, I contributed to a white paper regarding an alternative dispute resolution process to address workplace bullying and harassment within organisations. I aim to contribute regularly to discussions on issues related to Global Human Resource Management and have written on topics such as employment law, pay transparency and the gender pay gap.
