Ryan's research focuses on the intersection of housing markets, planning regulations and infrastructure delivery, with particular focus on social equity outcomes. With a background in social and design sciences, Ryan studied and worked in Southeast Asian natural resource management before becoming a local government planner. Ryan has previously taught urban management and planning at Western Sydney University and worked as Senior Research Officer at UNSW’s City Futures Research Centre.
