Ryan Longman is the University of Hawaii Consortium Program Director of the Pacific Islands Climate Adaptation Science Center (PICASC), he is also the Director of the Hawaii Climate Data Portal (HCDP) and a co lead of the Pacific Drought Knowledge Exchange (PDKE) at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. He has Ph.D. in geography. His fields of interest include: Climate adaptation science and resilience building in the Pacific, climatology, rainfall and temperature mapping, data monitoring and quality control, water resource management and drought. He also has a deep understanding of climate finance and proposal development.
