I am a PhD candidate in forest ecology investigating tree mortality as a critical demographic bottleneck shaping forest carbon cycling under climate change. My research integrates long-term forest inventory data with demographic vegetation models to predict when and where tree mortality constrains the stability of forest carbon sinks under climate change.
