I am an Associate Professor for environmental analytical chemistry at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Canada. My research focus includes the development of novel analytical techniques to evaluate the fate and behaviour of emerging organic contaminants in the aquatic environment, their potential for long-range transport into the Arctic, and the impact of multiple stressors on contaminant-related environmental risk. Apart from my work as a researcher, I have been a policy advisor on environmental risk assessment for offshore chemicals and spills from historic shipwrecks.
