Rose Nakayi

Rose Nakayi is a senior Lecturer at the School of Law Makerere University. She is also a qualified advocate of the High Court of Uganda. She holds a Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA, as well as an LL.B degree from Makerere University, and an LL.M from the University of Cambridge. Her academic, research and practice interests are interdisciplinary, spanning across natural resources law, specifically the politics of land law/ land governance, human rights law and transitional justice.
