Roger Whitaker is Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research Innovation and Enterprise at Cardiff University. He was Dean for Research and Innovation in the Physical Sciences and Engineering (2012-2021) and Head of Cardiff University’s School of Computer Science and Informatics (2009-2013). His research concerns the intersection of human and machine intelligence, new forms of innovation and the increasing role of AI. He is also a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales.
