Trained as an Environmental & Sanitation Engineer with a PhD in Biotechnology, Chemistry & Environmental Engineering, I’ve worked hands-on with HPLC/GC, high-throughput DNA sequencing, microbial ecology, environmental modelling, and water/wastewater treatment. I’ve witnessed firsthand that all the data in the world means nothing without a story and proper context behind it. As a grant writer at the University of A Coruña, I develop Horizon Europe proposals, source consortium partners, oversee partnerships, and coordinate all aspects of proposal preparation and writing.
