Robert Seddon

I'm an Honorary Fellow of Durham University (where I studied in the Department of Philosophy and received my PhD) and a member of its Centre for the Ethics of Cultural Heritage. My research broadly involves ethics and culture: I've worked on moral questions concerning cultural heritage from my doctoral research onwards, but increasingly I've become interested in new kinds of cultural controversy arising from modern technological developments. I've written on topics as diverse as space exploration, video games, migration, online micronations and 'virtual citizenship', 'smart cities' and Augmented Reality.
