Robert Mailhammer is an Professor of Linguistics at Western Sydney University. His research expertise is very broad but focuses on the history of the Germanic and Australian languages and on the documentation of Australian languages. Robert is the (co-)author of ten monographs and edited books, as well as over 50 peer reviewed articles and other publications. His work has been supported by organisations such as the Australian and German and the Research Councils.
