Robert Ford

I research issues around the broad theme of political conflict in diverse societies. I am currently writing a book - "The Right Wing Revolt" - examining the rise of the UK Independence Party and the British National Party in Britain since 2000, with Matthew Goodwin (Nottingham University) (due out with Routledge in early 2014). I am also working on projects examining British and European attitudes to immigration, and the evolution of attitudes to the welfare state, and to welfare recipients, in Britain and the Netherlands.
