Robert Doya Nanima is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Procedure, Faculty of Law, University of the Western Cape. He currently lectures the Masters’ Class on Constitutional Law and Criminal Justice, and modules on anti-money laundering and anti-corruption for the undergraduate students. He continues to carry out undergraduate and postgraduate supervision. His areas of research include criminal law, procedure, admission of evidence, and socioeconomic rights. He also serve as a member of the African Committee of Experts in the Rights and Welfare of the Child, and Special Rapporteur for Child Affected by Armed Conflict. He has published a number of articles and presented at national and international conferences. Previously, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Dullah Omar Institute, Coordinator of the Graduates Lecturing Assistants Programme at the Faculty of Law, University of the Western Cape. He also has experience in litigation as a State Attorney with the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, Uganda.
