Robert is a final year PhD student at the University of Cambridge, using genomics to analyse whole genome sequences of bacteria that cause serious disease. He is interested in translational research, focusing on infectious diseases and bacterial evolution across time and space, as well as how communicating science impacts policy and public perception. He is also passionate about widening participation, especially in postgraduate research.
